Abou Traoré is currently the Publication Director and Editor-in-Chief of LE SURSAUT, the promoter of the weekly magazine Sud Quotidien. Known under the pseudonym AT, Abou Traoré holds a university degree in Modern Communication and a Higher Technician Certificate (BTS) in business communication. He worked for more than 15 years as a journalist in the general information media Le Jour Plus and LE SURSAUT, which he was responsible for contributing effectively to the achievement of results.

A professional journalist for more than ten years, he is passionate about investigative journalism. This earned him prizes: Joseph Diomande Award for the Best Report, Ebony Prize Winner of the first ever LONACI Social Challenge Award 2015 and several times nominated at the Ebony Awards for Best Journalists in Côte d'Ivoire. Not to mention the various meetings in the West Africa sub-region (Dakar (Senegal), Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) on investigative journalism, he is also a founding member of the Norbert Zongo Cell for Journalism. investigation in West Africa (Cenozo) set up from 8 to 9 July 2015 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. He is also Secretary for the organization of the network of West African journalists for the promotion of good governance .

At the national level, he is the Secretary General of the Organization of Investigative Journalists of Côte d'Ivoire (Onjci) and President of the Network of Journalists for Good Governance in Transport in Côte d'Ivoire (Rejoptranci).
