Andy Bell has been a journalist in the UK for 30 years (Panorama, World in Action, Dispatches). He is now part of a new investigative documentary unit launching its programming in March 2018 and covering the whole of Africa. We’re looking for the best African journalists to help us find and tell original, hard-hitting stories from across the continent.
There will be 20 major investigations every year. Some will
be documentary films (30 and 60 minutes), shown on the BBC and on partner TV stations across Africa. Others will be ‘digital documentaries’ made for mobile phones and the social web.
This is a fantastic opportunity for African journalists to dig in to some ambitious, important stories. There is lots to talk about....
