Carol has more than ten years of experience working with journalists and human rights activists worldwide on digital security. She launched LevelUp, the first centralized resource for digital security trainers, and trained J-school students as a fellow at Columbia Journalism School's Tow Center. She is currently an advisor for the Electronic Frontier Foundation’s Security Education Program and supports Tactical Technology Collective’s Gender Programme.
