Caroline Giraud works on human rights, freedom of expression and media development since 2000. She has been with Internews, Reporters Without Borders, the Global Forum for Media Development, the Global Investigative Journalism Network. Currently an independent consultant, her main mission is with Media4Democracy.EU where she builds knowledge of EU staff on freedom of expression and access to information. In 2012-2015 she led a global advocacy campaign leading to the adoption of SDG 16.10.2 on access to information for the GFMD. Also: feminist.
