This conference is made possible because of the
Global Investigative Journalism Network, an association of 155 nonprofits and kindred organizations in 68 countries. GIJN works with its members, partner groups, and journalists to build and strengthen the practice of investigative journalism worldwide. The
GIJN Board of Directors will hold an open meeting, with reports by the chair and executive director, followed by presentations from those hoping to host the Global Conference in 2019.
