Despite progress made on global development goals over the past generation -- in curtailing poverty and bringing clean water, food, education health care, and gender equality to millions -- the world still has far to go. Climate change threatens to exacerbate environmental and economic challenges. Here are journalists in the trenches of the battle over development, writing on the  exploitation of resources, unbalanced trade, a new green revolution, health care, and more.
