​Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, ​Evelyn Groenink co-founded the​ continental ​ ‘Forum for African Investigative Reporters’ network and served as its director between 2005 and 2011. Among her own investigations the quest to find the truth behind the assassinations of Dulcie September, Chris Hani and a number of other Southern African freedom fighters stands out. She now serves as investigations editor for ZAM (www.zammagazine.com) and the African Investigative Publishing Collective (www.investigativecollective.com) In that capacity she coordinates and edits the AIPC’s pan-African transnational investigations.
