Makoto Watanabe is editor-in-chief of the Waseda Chronicle, a nonprofit investigative journalism organization in Japan. He was one of the journalists who involved in the Promethean investigation - a series of reports on the Fukushima disaster which suggested that the workers of the nuclear plant disobeyed the manager and decamped in a sort of mutiny. He quit his job at Asahi Shimbun to work as editor-in-chief at the Waseda Chronicle.
