Susanne Reber is the executive editor of Reveal, a nationally broadcast US public radio show, and the co-founder of the Peabody Award-winning radio program and podcast. Prior to joining The Center for Investigative Reporting as a senior editor in 2012, Reber formed and led NPR's first Investigations Unit, which won multiple Peabody Awards, a Polk award, a Robert F. Kennedy Award and others during her tenure. Susanne is a member of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and has collaborated on multiple projects, most recently The Paradise Papers.
Prior to moving to the U.S., Reber spent 23 years at the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., where she held various editorial leadership roles, including deputy managing editor of National Radio News and executive producer of CBC's Michener Award-winning Investigative Unit from 2003 to 2009. Susanne is based in Washington DC.
