Umar Jibrilu Gwandu is a Lecturer and a PhD student at the Department of Mass Communication, Bayero University, Kano- Nigeria. Gwandu has keen interest in promoting religious understanding, peaceful co-existence and mutual harmony among diverse people which spurs him in making presentation of related talks at national and international fora. His research interests include Investigative Journalism, Journalism Ethics, Political Communication, Media and Islam, and Digital Visual Communication.
